Last week, Year 4 students embarked on a journey to the Port Hacking Conference Centre at Rathane, in the Royal National Park. For three days, students enjoyed stunning views over the Port Hacking River extending all the way to the ocean. They delighted in the wide open spaces and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the heritage buildings and the beautifully renovated sandstone dining hall.
The camp provided valuable opportunities for students to develop skills in communication as they collaborated with their classmates and teachers, and reflected on how amazing God’s creation truly is. The students immersed themselves in the beauty of the natural world and embraced exciting new experiences. Highlights included fishing, boating to a sandbar, pool rafting, visiting mangroves, billy-carting, and the giant waterslide. We are thankful for our students and grateful they had a wonderful time at their Year 4 School camp.
