Recently, a group of our Year 11 and 12 Modern and Ancient History students gathered for an information evening to discuss their upcoming study tour of Europe. The two-week tour, (over the April School holidays) travelling through France, Germany and Italy, is designed to provide students with a broader understanding of history and enrich their learning. The 25 students, accompanied by four teachers, will visit many of the sites they are learning about in Stage 6 History, including WW1 battlefields, the Nuremberg Trial Courtroom, Dachau Concentration Camp, the Ancient Roman Forum, Pompeii and Herculaneum. We wish our students and teachers a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience in Europe, and look forward to hearing about their adventures.
